The Euro STOXX 50 Index is a market capitalization index. The index features the 50 largest blue-chip European companies (in terms of market cap) that operate within the Eurozone. These companies include Austria, Belgium, Finland, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Portugal, and Spain. The final settlement price is established by Eurex on the final settlement day of the contract and is based on the average of the respective index values calculated between 11:50 and 12:00 CET and the STOXX® Global Select Dividend 100 Index closing price on the last trading day (FGDV) respectively.
